BRACKNELL (TAWFIELD)
0900 N F3 25km - 7/SC T050D016
RMK: small gaps in Sc (base~035) show that if there is any cloud above,
it is not very significant: blue sky seen. The only hint of elevated
smoke lies well to the north or NNE (direction of Hemel), but even that
is tenuous.
[ OVERNIGHT DATA (18Z - 09Z):
screen min: 03.8 grass min: 02.1 precipitation: tr [24hr total: tr]
other data: A little light drizzle overnight. ]=
1000 N F2 35km - 4/SC 6/CI COTRA T046D020
RMK: Sc base lifting as it breaks up (we're on the northern edge I
think) ~ 040. Large amounts cirrus above, much of this ex. condensation
trail. Smoke ex. Hemel clearly seen now (elevated layer fed by sheared
column from source) drifting south towards West London, then more
diffuse as it feeds into the inversion layer.=
