Default Christmas Day - but springlike

What an absolutely gorgeous day it has been in this part of the country.
We've been walking in the Chess Valley for much of the day. In strong
sun this afternoon it was almost uncomfortably warm although the
temperature was only about 6C. There was quite a bit of Cu development
and one or two of the tops were starting to glaciate. It's possible that
there was the odd shower in the area. The temperature is starting to
fall away now (4.8C at 1340z).

Looking forward to the turkey and all the trimmings this evening!

Merry Christmas to all.

Norman.
