5cm of snow lying this morning following an overnight min of -5.2C.
41st day of 2005 with falling snow/sleet and 18th with lying snow.
Afternoon max was -0.1C at 1238. Temperature then fell to -3.9C by 1716
but then rose to 1.3C by 2100 (end of period for recording max temp).
So, despite being below freezing for more than 28 consecutive hours, no
ice day occured and this months coldest day looks like being yesterday
with a day max of 1.0C.
Now up to 1.8C. Humidity has dropped sharply from 90% at 1945 to 72%
currently.

That is some wild weather you are getting down there.
Nothing like that here - several degrees warmer and only one day with
lying snow, and then only 5mm (Day 17), and only 3 days of snow falling,
and just 4 frosts (not including last winter).
