Default Tropical Storm Zeta

Well whadayya know. Advisory #1 on http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/ right now.

Although before the global warming nuts go bananas, this is not the first
time a tropical storm has formed at this end of December. Just that they are
exceedingly rare. According to http://www.aoml.noaa.gov/hrd/tcfaq/E16.html a
hurricane formed on 31st December 1954 (lasting to Jan 5th 2005).
http://www.aoml.noaa.gov/hrd/tcfaq/E17.html shows there have been 8 December
tropical storms recorded. I guess that will now be 9. (Or would be 10
including Epsilon?)

That lot came from the NHC's FAQ at
http://www.aoml.noaa.gov/hrd/tcfaq/tcfaqHED.html
