I've just come back from spending a few days in Comrie, I used to
know it well, my grandparents used to live there in the 70's/80's
and I have many fond memories of the place as a child.
What surprised me that when I arrived there on Saturday there
was evidence of what seemed to be a reasonable snowfall,
the snow area appeared to start quite abruptly just west of
Perth.

This seems to happen quite often. It's been faily cold since the new year,
but today, what remains there were of snow have now gone.
We didn't get much more than a couple of inches.
