Default Föhn effect ? Rosehearty 15.3°C

:That Rosehearty figure must surely be a mistake ?? The highest
:temperature here between 0600 and 1800 was only 6.4C.
:
:Further along the Moray Firth coast it managed only 5C at Lossiemouth
:and 6C at Kinloss (according to WeatherOnline) and these would be the
laces more likely to benefit from a foehn effect. The most likely
:explanation that I can find is that the Met Office have added a 1 to
:5.3C by mistake.

I was very dubious about this figure. I wondered if it had occurred early
in the night before the cold front passed. What about 13.5°C at
Charterhall ? Is that likely to be wrong too ?
