Norman - I've been in those mountains in January, and they _do_ get a
surprising amount of snow most winters ...!

There is a very upmarket ski resort in the mountains of Morocco - no,
I'm not joking - apparently the biggest danger there is not broken
bones but skin cancer owing to very strong UV at high altitude and
relatively low latitude. The contrast between crisp icy snow, deep blue
skies and a high solar elevation makes for marvellous photographs.
