Yes indeed. The Sierra Nevada reach about 10,000 feet there and get a
thick covering in most winters.
There's also snow to be seen on the imagery on the mountain peaks
between Tebessa and Batna in extreme NE Algeria, near the Tunisian
border. The highest peaks there are about 7,600 feet.
Mount Etna on Sicily appears to be well covered.
