Default [WR] Dartington, South Hams - a remarkable January day

Today's max +10.1 deg. C (11th max this month in double figures)
Precip. NIL

Strong, almost unbroken sunshine today - a remarkable day for January, felt
really warm up against south facing walls. Now that we are a month from the
shortest day there is real strength back in the sun. Our entire hot water
tank was heated to +58 deg. C today from our 30 Thermomax evacuated tubes,
which is good going in January. Also, 5 kWh of electricity off the pV array
(highest daily output since 23 November '05; 1 unit exported to the national
grid).

Current (20:40)

Temp +0.1 deg. C (same as last night's min; the 6th min of the month below
zero looks inevitable)
Dew point -0.9 deg. C
RH 93%
Wind Calm
Pressure 1034 hPa

Best wishes,
Richard.
