I've been looking at this 1947 section for a couple of weeks now - and
indeed the charts and readings have been remarkably similar.
Of course the Camden Square site, even in 1947, would have been a lot
warmer than rural areas.
It would be interesting to see how much warmer an identical synoptic
set-up would be compared with 59 years ago!
