I don't know about you lot, but in these situations I like to look at facts
and figures elsewhere in europe in the hope of grasping an idea of what the
u.k. might experience in the coming few days/weeks. So to cut a long story
short, I've been having a look at current temperatures in Europe using all
the various metrological offices websites which generally give on the hour
observations and I've noted above, any ideas what Berlin's record minimum
is? Or for that matter what places on the continent have hit new lows?

Any ideas.
