I don't know about you lot, but in these situations I like to look at facts
and figures elsewhere in europe in the hope of grasping an idea of what the
u.k. might experience in the coming few days/weeks. So to cut a long story

observations and I've noted above, any ideas what Berlin's record minimum
is? Or for that matter what places on the continent have hit new lows?

Well even Birmingham has been below minus 15 before. The record for Berlin
is minus 22 according to
