German TV forecast mentioned -23°C at Usedom in NE Germany and -27°C at
Haidmühle in Bavaria last night.

Today Berlin observed its highest ever atmospheric pressure in a 99-year
record. I think it was 1049.9 hPa beating the previous record of 1049.3 hPa
in December 1993.
