RMK: Ppn very slight. The atmosphere smells strongly, as if
there was a large chemical plant nearby. The smell is
quite noticeable even indoors

0900z N F1 1300 HZ 8St004 00.3/-00.7 1027
RMK: Hoar frost melting but ground frozen hard. Less of a smell
now but the pollution earlier this morning was the worst
I have experienced for a very long time.

(corrected) Min (0900-0900z): -4.0 at 0900z yesterday
Min (2100-0900z): -3.3 at 2255z

RMK: Much cleaner air now. A few intervals of sunshine during
the past couple of hours.
