Default [WR] Not quite as cold in Canterbury

-4.8C here, slightly warmer than last night also. What is nice is that the
cloud suddenly cleared to give clear blue skies. Now up to 4.4C. I was
looking forward to Will's forecast tomorrow but now I feel it will be pretty
much more of the same with a list of outside chances in two weeks time, but
two weeks time will soon be too late.

Last night was not quite as cold as the night before with a minimum of
-5.0C at midnight. The minimum temperature if I was reading 9am-9am was
just slightly lower at -5.1C at 0900Z on the 24th.

Currently 1.2C and rising very slowly. Very slight drizzle, but it's so
slight that I can't tell if it's rain or wintery in nature. Ground is
still quite well frozen but the surface has begun to thaw slightly.
