Here in Mid Devon (Exeter) have only had 17.2MM so far this month, and
if it
stays like that it will be the joint lowest January rainfall on record
(17
years). 1997 we had 17.2MM as well.
How is it looking in the dry Sussex and to the east?
Another 0.5mm today takes the total for January up to 17.3mm (about 25%
of the local lta). If it stays that low, it will be the driest month I
have recorded since I started observations in September 2004.
