Default anaprop

I've noticed some anaprop on the RADAR animation on the MO site.
Would this anaprop be fog?

.... Not so much the fog, but rather an idication of the strong
subsidence inversion present - which might have intensified since this
ascent (from Watnall)

However, the poor output of the radarnet suggests to me that some of the
units aren't contributing to the network, or the algorithms used to
filter out such would have cleaned the image up much more.
