Default It's a frost Jim but not as we know it !

Similar in London. Temp was -1C and no condensation at all at 8AM. Still -1C
at 3PM. Brr! No wonder my fingers were icy cold by the time I'd biked it to
work and back...

Hmm the places I'd like to go today and yesterday are the tops of the
Pennines or Snowdonia. Looking at NOAA18 those peaks are sticking out above
the cloud into the warmer air above 1500 feet. The Larkhill sounding shows
it is as warm as +5C between 3000 and 5000 feet. That's one helluva
inversion! The real 0C line is way up at 10,000 feet, which is very high for
the time of year.
