George you were right about today. Current temperature here in Basildon is
33.5C at last after a very warm start. Overnight minimum only fell to
18.3C
last night so that gave a head start to the day.
If the sea breeze stays away lets see if we can manage 35C.


Currently 34.3°C which is highest since records began here in 1979. Easterly
wind AM has now gone round to SouthWesterly and this seems to have given the
extra boost to the temperatures
