Yeah, I've been aware of this site for some time - I'm not sure where
they are getting some of these decoded synops from, some readings are
listed for places I have yet to see a synop message from, such as
Equatorial Guinea.
Perhaps they are decoded METARs.A few of these local readings are
quite suspect - I saw one on this RU site the other day that came from
Jan Mayen, Norway and listed the min temp at -17C when the actual
synop gave -1C for the low, the temp. had not even come close to -17C
anytime around the date shown.
