.... the Manston sequence (lowering dew point, well broken cloud) is
worrying - I've seen some tricky ice develop in these situations even
when the cloud hasn't broken completely - evaporative cooling with in
the steady easterly would be enough to lead to localised ice after all
the PPN today - and the surface has also now been chilled quite
effectively.
