Well my experience (2.5 years) has led me to believe the Exeter area is
probably the most benign place on the planet in terms of weather, both in
summer and winter.

Not much better here, down in Plymouth. Although it rains more here, and it
gets a bit windy from time to time. Is that a plus point??

Good job that Dartmoor is on the doorstep.
