Indeed, we can get a lot of precipitation under those conditions. Any
northerly funnelling down from the Irish sea & clipping Cornwall is bad
news.
The 25th & 26th November saw 63.6mm of rain/hail here under similar
conditions. The sea was warmer then, which helped make it particularly wet.
