I am looking out at a moderate fall of wettish snow. It is just beginning
to
lie, and there is only a light wind.

For comparison, we have had rain showers at intervals since last night,
with some hail showers this afternoon and evening.

We had some sunny spells this morning and early afternoon. Later on snow was
lying on the grass in the back garden, but not on the bare ground - I
suppose the bare earth was slightly warmer than the grass. However it has
all melted now.
