Has it really been 10 years? I was a founder member along with the others
that enrolled. Sadly I have had to rather neglect the group for five
years and have come back to something 'different'. The fun seems to have
diminished and Phil Layton's snowman is no longer a key issue.
Paul,
For me the WMO snow man is still a key issue. Its just there's not been
enough blessed snow in the SE to make him to WMO standards.
For those new to the group, here's a repeat of the thread:

Paul, I hate to tell you this, but the WMO Snowman has been born.
He's got a bottom about 2'6-3' in diameter, and a head of about 1-1'3
in diameter.
I dread his demise, as on past performance that has been the end of
the winter!

Now Phil please! Can we have the dimensions in mm's.
And height not specified! Tut. Tut.
Does he have a Euro-carrot for a nose and imported coal for eyes?
His demise seems not too far away looking at the latest miserable
machinery.
Good to see the phoenix rise again from the ashes though..wish him well
from me.
He will be back!
Cheers
Paul

Ok, I'm sorry Its about 800mm round the base,
and 340mms around his head

Height = bottom plus head = 1140mms

Absolutely. He's ISO9000 or whatever it is these days.
AND he's got ears, but my daughter did ask what they were. In fact the
snow was so bendy and sticky, I could have made a set of ice
Teletubbies......

I'll get a fog patch and ground frost to tie him over.

Will do.
He will be back!
Along with his mate.....!
