Default south cost convergence

This satpic is extraordinary:

It seems to show a classic south coast sea breeze convergence. Yet it
cannot be as the land temperatures are 5 degs at best and the sea
temperature is around 8 degs.

X/C weather wind arrows also showed a convergence

Any ideas or explanations?

Jack

Although the air temperature is low, the sun is relatively strong now, so
the ground is likely to be a good deal warmer (assuming it's been sunny!)

I've certainly noticed sea breezes here when you certainly woudn't expect
them by the air temperature.
