Today I finally got some of that 'strong March sunshine' that was
rumoured to exist. The temperature 'rocketed' to 6.8C in the
afternoon sunshine.
It was almost 'late-winter like'.
It's been up to 11 deg C here this afternoon - in glorious Spring
sunshine! Down on the beach at Solent MRSC it was 12 degrees (rounded)
for a while - it's felt *completely* unlike what was implied by last
night's late evening weather forecast on the BBC.
Now, where's that lawn mower...
You mean your grass is actually growing :-o
All still very yellow here and with soil temperatures well below 5 deg C it will
remain so.
Not complaining though, I hate cutting grass.
