Default [WR] Norfolk / Suffolk This Morning

For those who are interested:

At approx 0500hrs arrived at Norwich from Barford. No snow fall nor evidence
of snowfall. Two cars in the car park showed signs of snow. Two members of
staff reporting snow on journey to work. One from North Walsham, reported
snow, ending suddenly in a visible "line" near Coltishall. The other from
Great Yarmouth reported appox 2 inches snow, and had to take an alternative
route to work due to snow. Some members of staff also reported trouble
getting to work due to snow at Yarmouth.

From Norwich to Lowestoft by rail, no signs of snow until Reedham (light
dusting). Fallen snow became thicker at Haddiscoe with over an inch on the
platform at Somerleyton. Some snow on roads at Oulton Broad and Lowestoft.
No falling snow on journey. From Lowestoft to Ipswich snow only as far as a
point 1/3 distance between Oulton Broad and Beccles.

Norwich at 10:30hrs, signs of light snowfall in shaded areas of railway
embankments. No sign of snow on rooftops etc. Two light snow showers in
Barford around 12:30 and 14:00, both less than 5 minutes in duration, no
settling. Bitterly cold outside all day.
