Isabel sure has a big eye for a cat-5 storm; does anyone have an
explanation for this oddity?

The 11 Pm forecast said there was an eyewall replacement cycle. She
will wind up again especially with warmer water to the west.

I have been staring at the water vapor loop and it looks like the
ridge to the north of Isabel is moving west faster than the storm,
Guess some of the models are not sure if the ridge is going to bridge
over. Guess they feel there will still be plenty of time to plan
evacuations once rhey know for sure.
