With all the destruction that is happening with these hurricanes,
there had better be some large-scale reclamation and salvaging going
on with all the debris, or the landfills will be filled up in a hurry.

Is there any salvaging of building materials (wood, bricks, metals,
etc) going on?

They'd better salvage all the wood they can - with the US still
keeping their tax on Canadian softwood they're just shooting
themselves in the head. I wonder if everyone had enough plywood to
cover their windows (and what happens to all that plywood now?)
