George wrote about his fan packing up. I gave a Weather talk this morning to
a group close to the Dartford Toll Bridge and not far from Gravesend. During
the talk the heating came on in the hall and nobody could turn it off. I had
to switch subjects to The Frost Fairs of London to cool the audience down.
