Default It never rains but it pours.

Talking about heat, the evenings and mornings have been quite warm over
the last few days. I don't think there will be records broken tomorrow
but forecasts have slated a fairly close approach of 19 or 20 degrees
C. (I believe the record is about 23 deg C.)

Well we have had the very heavy rain that the moon was due to bring and
no doubt it will continue like this through the next spell too.

Which means that another major earthquake or two are not unlikely
somewhere or other in a couple of weeks. Experienced storm watchers
might care to keep an eye on:

for prequels. I'm not sure what to look for with them though.

In the meantime: Is there another hurricane in the offing?

(To be honest, all I have to go on with that is that when a series of
spells produce a long lasting run of similar weather they usually end
with such a bang. However an almost certain precursor to major quakes
is that the weather is not what should be expected from the McNeil Book
of Spells. Still it's best ot expect the worst, eh?)

((Maybe a majorish volcanic eruption?))

The remnants of Wilma are scheduled to arrive up here -somewhere to the
west of us, on Sunday. That should be interesting given the present run.
