Well we have had the very heavy rain that the moon was due to bring and
no doubt it will continue like this through the next spell too.

(To be honest, all I have to go on with that is that when a series of
spells produce a long lasting run of similar weather they usually end
with such a bang. However an almost certain precursor to major quakes
is that the weather is not what should be expected from the McNeil Book
of Spells. Still it's best ot expect the worst, eh?)

Perhaps I aught to write to the BBC about the reason for the warm
weather and the certainty of its continuing through the rest of the
yearas evidenced by:

OCT. 3 10 28 OCT. 10 19 01 OCT. 17 12 14 OCT. 25 1 17
NOV. 2 1 24 NOV. 9 1 57 NOV. 16 0 57 NOV. 23 22 11
DEC. 1 15 01 DEC. 8 9 36 DEC. 15 16 15 DEC. 23 19 36
DEC. 31 3 12

These are wet spells.

Of course there is going to be hell to pay for a series as long as
this. But it won't be due to freezing cold. The damned fools!

Thes are the lunar phases for next week if you care to go through them:

Divide the nearest hour by 3 or by 6 and if the result brings it to a
remainder of 1 or 4, the spell is a wet one. If it is a wet spell it is
a warm spell and the danger in the UK is not from exposure but of Flu.

(No cigar for guessing what it will be called this year.)
