Default The three C's and Autumn's leaves...

After a slightly wamer than normal September , Peak Foliage season has begun across
the north country.
(albeit, a touch later than usual)
The 3-C (clear, calm, cool) weather of the last 7 - 10 days should set
the "leaf show" off further southward ...
I've heard hypotheses from many that this foliage season should be better than the
past few,
which overall have been somewhat lackluster... (probably due to the preceeding dry
summers)
which stressed the trees. It would appear that this year, the plentiful rainfall,
should have kept most of the the trees in good condition.
Couple that with the ideal conditions of the last week, will this be a season to
remember?

Across the far north country (canadian border-adirondacks of NY, into northern
Maine)...
the leaves are near or passing peak... and so far... somewhat mixed reports... some
people report
stunning colors.. (best in years, sort of reports), while in other areas... once
again, drab and not so interesting.

Time will tell, (and shortly at that)...
