Default Crispy cold this morning (-40 and not wind chill!)

Perry:

Summers are quite nice. Spring arrives here with a bang! For example, last
spring (Easter) we had a temperature of about 5 C (41F) (still had about a
foot of ice on the lake) and then, about 4 days later, we were up to 28C
(about 82F), then, several days later, it snowed....

To answer your question, summer temps in this area a daytime highs near
24 C (75F) and nightime lows around 15 C (60F). Temperatures have gone as
high as 38 C (100F). Water temps in the lake in July run about 20C (68F) so
very nice to jump into!

Thanks again, Pierre, for making me feel toasty warm at -6F this morning!

What do your average summer temperature run during lake-swimming weather?

Hey all...

Another cold one this morning here in southern Quebec. 8am minimum
thermometer reading of -40C (-40F) and with the sunrise, up to a

balmy -39C.
At least its sunny out and no wind yet, but we should be getting some

steady
nothernly winds up to 20 or 30 kph later this morning, so more

horrendous
wind chills this afternoon. Time to throw another log on the fire....and

to
think, that in about 4 months from now, I'll be swimming in the lake

(which
currently has almost 70 cm of ice thickness! ...about 30 inches...I
think...)
