Default Sky Happenings

It always surprises me, when I go to Maine, how many more stars are visible
than down here in light-polluted Framingham. I wish more emphasis was
placed on shielded lighting. I really foresee the day when we won't be able
to see Orion in the night sky.

Only if you are talking about *meteors*.

I am not really a star-watcher per se, but I really love going out and
looking at the night sky .. especially on these cold, crisp winter
nights. We live far from "civilization" and after the eyes adjust you
can see so many stars. Last night when I was getting wood I just stopped
for a while and stared up there... really puts things in perspective. I
love seeing Orion in the winter.
