There's a lovely park in a dark neighborhood nearby (Callahan Park) that,
although subject to the general light pollution, doesn't have any
streetlights or other local lighting which impairs viewing. I go there to
view meteor showers and the lunar eclipse and such, and it's quite nice
viewing.
Yes, actually I have heard of DSA, and have even sent some of their
information to light-polluting neighbors.

The good thing at least is that from Framingham, you don't have to drive
*too* far to find a place that at least has a little less light
pollution. A 20 minute jaunt NW would probably improve matters greatly.
Have you heard about the Dark Sky Association? They may have some tips..
