Default WMII / WeatherLink 5.4 problem

Ok, back on-line again :-) Todays panic over phew.

At the moment I have bypassed the 'Davis' WeatherLink ISOLATOR (Part
7764). So the WMII is cabled directly to the PC. I now need to
establish whats wrong with the ISOLATOR, I may try another power
supply to it, as there's not a lot else in it.

I have been getting regular glitches with the system lately, the
WeatherLink software hangs up with the message 'missed archive point',
this has been occuring about twice a day. I thought it may have
something to do with John Danns WLCap programme clashing somewhere,
but I'm not sure now. It maybe that a fault has been intermittent with
the ISOLATOR which has occasionally broken the link and caused the
'missed archive point' errors.

Has anyone else experienced similar problems?

Thanks

Keith (Southend)

I can not communicate between my WMII and computer, it says check
comm port and settings, I have, I've even removed power from both WMII
and computer nothing :-(
