sensing. It is simply not possible to resolve the signal from the noise

Concerning the categorising of the tropical storm in the South Atlantic:
deriving windspeeds (itself an approximation) from remotely sensed
temperatures (another approximation) and finding a narrow fit places
doubt upon the conclusion.

I think categorsiation needs collaborative evidence.
