Let me rephrase that:

How often do equinoctual storms occur in the UK? We didn't have the
winter solstice one this (last) year. I wonder if there is something in
that? Mind you didn't Norway or someplace handy host the regular
Christmas Shipwreck? I suppose even Panamanians keep their eyes open
sometimes. (Lucky they closed them again when they left UK waters.)
