Wouldn't you rather be in Milwaukee, with a brisk east
wind and 43?

Wednesday's high temperature at Montgomery, NY was 83 and at Newark,
NJ was 75 while at Islip the high temperature was 58 and Westhampton
could only manage 55.

Late this afternoon the temperature was in the high 40s over eastern
LI at the same time it was in the low 80s in the Hudson Valley. Thats
what I call a sea breeze!

Through May 20, temps on most of LI have topped 70 only once this month (on
May 15). I went for a run this evening with the last rays of the sun still
shining (after a mostly cloudy day) and the temperature at only 49. It
continues to be a cool May.
