Default Wet Sun morning

Martin,
6.9mm here at Guildford too. Quite a pressure drop too - I'm now

showing
977.6mbs with 978mbs for Heathrow. So today could be a contender forf

the
wettest day of the month with the lowest pressure.

My colleagues in ATC will be sweating over losing another level for

Minimum
Stack Level above the outbound altitude .....

Hint of brightness in the sky now, but with a TAF of:

EGLL Heathrow 180604Z 180716 16013KT 9999 -RA SCT012
BKN025 TEMPO 0716 7000 RA SHRA BKN013 TEMPO 0709 BKN009

BECMG
1013 24008KT PROB30 TEMPO 1216 +RA +SHRA OVC030CB=
we are probably in for some more action.

There are a few spherics showing up in the NW flow already on the

Europe
chart on the web site.

... tally for the rainday 24hr up to 0900Z this morning (18th) = 7.4mm,
but as you say, more to come; just had a slight power glitch, which
usually means lightning around somewhere, so I'm afraid I'm going
off-line now (as my UPS is over a hundred miles away with my son ... he
forgot to bring it back last time he was up here!)

Martin.
