For those who set VCR's etc., note that due to coverage of the Marathon,
'Countryfile' is on BBC2 today, and later, from 1210 to 1240 (though the
Radio Times listing doesn't mention a weather forecast.)

Good news for tree huggers. The English Oak seems to be resistant to
Sudden Death Oak Disease. And a hybid of Japanese, Siberian and Red Elms
looks set to replace the devastation brought on us with Dutch Elm
Disease.

We'll see.

The forecast showed an occluded front would broach at Norway on the 23rd
(Friday.)
