I already have addressed this problems. If you had
bothered to read the first clause of the first
sentence of my post, you would know that.

"Even if you account for the slow growth of the number
of storms per year in the Atlantic Basin . . . "

Part of that slow growth, perhaps a large part,
are improved observing. So, unless you have
a factual complaint, or real data of your own,
the 1 in 10,000 event calculation stands.
