Widespread rain in Scotland on Tuesday night moves away to the north before
morning. Scattered outbreaks of rain also in northern England. Further
rain reaches western Ireland later in the night. Some rain moves into SW
England early on Wednesday morning, into Wales later in the morning and
across much of England during the afternoon and evening. Some thunder in
SE England during the evening. Other rain areas affect parts of NE and
northern England and western Scotland during the day.
