A vile morning here. It's been raining non-stop since 6:15pm yesterday
and it's very cold once again at only 4.4C. Wind from the E.S.E.

36.6mm of rain has fallen since then with 28.2mm since midnight. Max

Monthly total now 86.6mm and annual total 154.0mm.

Contrary to what I just heard Peter Gibbs say on a News 24 forecast
there is absolutely no sign of spring whatsoever.

Since the temperature has risen into double figures here, currently
12.6degC, I have forgotten what it is like to walk outside into cold air
with a biting wind. Maybe Peter Gibbs has lost his perception too !
