Default Our First Daffodil.

Still a few days to go by the looks of it before the first one is in
flower in the garden here. It's very late, especially compared to recent
years.

In my travels between here and North Ayrshire over the years I have
noticed that the daffs have typically been 3-4 weeks later in Ayrshire
than here. I should think it's fairly unusual for them to bloom in
Whistlefield before they do here. Of course, it could be down to
different varieties but I am no expert on that. The limit of my
knowledge is that if they're yellow they must be daffodils :-)
