Default Exceptionally wet March in parts of France

The AWS at Milhaguet in the Haute Vienne ...(see
http://www.weather-uk.com/page4.html ) collected
232mm of rain during March 2006. The nearest SYNOP
station, at Limoges, had 243mm making it the wettest
March there since 1888 (composite record from two
sites).

Since it started raining again on 14th Feb, there has been
340mm of rain - about three times the long-term average -
so that should partially alleviate the water-shortage there.
