If GFS can be trusted grin April looks like turning out another below
average month (still early days I know). Could this be two cold months
in a row? That's not been heard of for a long time.

The flora and fauna is well behind this spring and I still have not been
tempted into the garden to start some well needed tidying up. At least
for me my April rainfall is almost 100% already, so maybe we will be
spared water restrictions in the Anglia & Suffolk region that we come
under.

Still only 11.4mm (22% of normal) rainfall here in Canterbury. The mean
temperature is also below average, but that would not be unusual seeing
as it's not even half-way through the month yet.

As you say, the flora and fauna is particularly late this year, after it
was early last year. Trees have only just started to blossom. The tulips
in the back garden look like they're just starting to come along now.

25 mm here so far, which seems to have made the ground quite wet. Notice
Keith has 40mm. My rainfall often seems to breakup as it arrives, a bit like
yours in Canterbury. I'm only 15 miles from Southend but it can be quite
different as it sticks out in the sea there!
