I am indeed running a Windows OS on my computer, but not MS Office. It
was (is) the standard at my place of work and I did not like it. I avoid
IE and OE also ... quite horrible.

There are other operating systems (and offices) out there. Mind you
getting into OOo's character map is a pain if you just want to be exact
on a newsgroup.

Yes there are (and I use Word Perfect suite on my own machines), but
with 95% of users running Windows (of one kind or another), and with
Apple moving over to Intel and supporting Windows XP on their machines,
there was a good chance I was providing usable information.

Always good to know the command for "OOo" though.
